Structure
Kennel Tracker is written in PHP with MySQL, a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) for data storage.  Administrative actions are completed with database connectivity while the front of the site relies on flat files written when pages are published in the Admin area.

The development of the Kennel Tracker website systems was overseen by Pure Stock Aussies, breeders of fine Australian Shepherds.  While the Pure Stock Aussies website uses a bi-directional database communication system, Kennel Tracker was simplified for use without an in-house database system.  This is important because a dog breeder was "At the Wheel" during the outline and development process to ensure important information and essential functionality was represented in the final product, making Kennel Tracker websites a useful addition to any kennel.

While there may be other information that may pertain to one or more breeds that could be represented in the Kennel Tracker websites, the need for keeping things to a standard without making things over-generic was the driving force behind our systems.

Kennel Tracker websites are not "Stand-Alone" applications with regard to websites in general.  All Kennel Tracker websites require the website to be integrated with our systems; the "Look and Feel" of current websites can be re-developed with our systems to keep your site looking the way you wanted it to.  While this may cause a little confusion for people who currently have other people maintaining their websites, we sincerely believe that all confusion will end once the site is launched and the easy-to-use administrative area will make the need for outside maintenance a thing of the past.

Hosting
All Kennel Tracker websites will be hosted on a server designated for use by Kennel Tracker.  Requests for sites to be hosted on other servers will not be entertained.  For serviceability, ease of maintenance and reliable hosting, we will use our hosting company and their servers for all Kennel Tracker websites.

Kennel Tracker websites are developed by Mark Cloyd Designs.

Website standards:
Website re-development is an integral part of Kennel Tracker websites, this is of course included in the over-all price of the system and will not incur any additional fees.

Kennel Tracker functionality comes "As Is"; custom programming will be considered on a case-by-case basis and only for existing Kennel Tracker website owners.
